How to create a quote in four steps
Choose a template
Pick Classic, Modern or Minimal in the settings panel, then set your accent colour and font.
Add your details
Upload your logo, then fill in your business details, your client's details, the quote number and the dates.
List your items
Enter a description, quantity and rate for each item. Add a discount or tax rate if you need one.

What to include on a quote
A good quote leaves nothing open to interpretation:
- A quote number and the date it was issued.
- A valid until date, so the client knows how long the price holds.
- A description of each item or service with quantity and price.
- Any tax, discount and the total price.
- Terms such as deposit, payment schedule and how to accept.
A quote is not a demand for payment. Issue an invoice once the work is agreed or delivered.

Is this quote generator really free?
Yes. You can create, edit and download as many quotes as you like without paying anything.
Do I need to sign up or create an account?
No. Open the page and start. There is nothing to register or verify.
Will the PDF have a watermark?
No. The downloaded quote contains only the content you entered.
Where is my data stored?
Your draft, including your logo, is saved in your own browser so you can close the tab and continue later. When you select Download PDF, the details are sent to our server only to build the PDF file. Guest documents are not saved to an account. Clearing your browser data removes the draft.
How do I download my quote as a PDF?
Fill in the client name and at least one item, then select Download PDF at the top of the page. The file downloads straight to your device.
Can I add my logo and change the colours?
Yes. Click the logo box on the invoice to upload your logo, then choose an accent colour, font and template in the settings panel. The preview updates instantly and the PDF uses the same layout.
What is the difference between a quote and an invoice?
A quote proposes a price before work begins. An invoice requests payment after goods or services are delivered.
How long should a quote be valid?
Many businesses use 14 to 30 days. Set the date in the Valid until field.
